"I built the first version in a weekend because I couldn't figure out what plant was dying on my desk. Turns out I wasn't alone."
Mira Voss, Founder
Nothing's too ordinary
Fovea reads whatever's in frame — fabric, plants, objects, light.
How it works
Search was built for words. Most of what you notice doesn't have any — a texture, a shade, a shape you can't quite name.
No query needed

Works on anything
Right, not just fast
01
Point it, reading starts instantly
No app switching, no photo to snap — just the live camera feed, analyzed in real time.
02
Checked against millions of patterns
Material, shape, texture, context — cross-referenced before anything is shown to you.
03
Reads detail, not just a label
The weave of a fabric, how dry a leaf is, the wear on a surface — the details a glance would miss.
04
Double-checks itself before answering
Multiple signals are cross-validated first, so what you see is accurate — not just fast.
05
Answers the moment you look
No search bar, no menu, no query. The read appears the instant you point.

FAQ
What you're probably still wondering
01
When do I get access?
Access opens in waves, starting with the earliest signups. One email when it's your turn.
02
Does it work on any phone?
Yes — no separate app to install. Point the camera, that's it.
03
Is my data stored?
No. Frames are processed and discarded — nothing saved, nothing shared.
04
What can it actually recognize?
Almost anything in frame — fabric, plants, objects, even skin. If it's not sure, it says so instead of guessing.
05
Is there an API?
Not yet. API access is one of the things early waitlist members get first.
06
What if it gets it wrong?
It says so. Fovea would rather flag low confidence than guess and be wrong.
